We are introducing some spirit initiatives, since spirit is the true core and most important aspect of our beloved sport! Each week teams will fill out spirit sheets for their opponents, and the team with the best spirit that week will get a prize! So bring your positive vibes and enthusiastic support for players on your own team and other teams to ensure you get something special! The prizes will be random, could be some cold treats, perhaps a team voucher, maybe a new team camper van? You'll never know.... What could be better than playing a couple hours of sweet ultimate, and following that up with some cold beverages and the Stanley Cup Finals at our sponsor THE HURON CLUB?(big screen TV and ample seating) Not to mention they throw a plate of nachos for every 6 people from GBU! Can't Wait!!!!!!!! Join us as we kick off our first night of Pickup Ultimate Frisbee. Meet others who love the game at 7pm at Fisher Fields. All you need is $5 if you aren't a league member. Beginners welcome. The Flynn's have graciously offered the use of their rec/game room and areas to keep the fun going if the weather doesn't cooperate, BUT its going to clear up, so with any luck we'll still be crackin open a cups tourney!!! Dust off your cleats & grab your disc because ultimate is starting this Wednesday for league players @ 6:30pm!!! It will be a night of pickup games & tons of fun.
